What is the Raindance AI trend?
People use AI video tools to place themselves and a partner in seaside music-video scenes associated with Dave and Tems’ “Raindance”. The appeal is personal: seeing two familiar faces share a cinematic moment that would otherwise take a location, a camera and a film crew.
“Raindance” is the song title. Universal Music’s official music-video announcement credits Dave and Tems and describes the Lagos setting. Our independent tool is not affiliated with the artists or their labels.
Two roles make the story easier to follow
The singer is the person selected for the performance and close-up moments. Their partner shares the wider seaside scenes. You choose these roles from the two uploaded portraits; they are not assigned by gender or by which photo was taken first.
You can prepare a clip with your partner or a friend. The photos can be taken separately. The studio accepts adult portraits only.
What our version includes
Our video is 15 seconds long, in 16:9 landscape. It moves from the partner in front to singer close-ups, shared moments and a partner reaction, ending with both people at sunset. It’s an interpretation of the mood, not a copy of the official video.
Watch the sample on the home page with the sound on, next to the two portraits used to make it.
Prepare portraits that are easy to read
Choose one clear face per photo, preferably facing the camera in even light. Keep the hairstyle visible and avoid sunglasses, strong filters or a phone covering the face. Use JPG, PNG or WebP under 5 MB per photo, and get permission from both people.
Read the photo and posting guide for the complete workflow, then check which portrait is labeled Singer before starting.
Sound and sharing
The generator takes two portraits and a preset performance. It replaces the singer and partner and keeps the gestures and the singing mouth movements, lip-synced to the trend sound. No audio upload is needed. If a platform mutes the sound when you post, add “Raindance” from its sound library.
Choose 9:16 for TikTok and Reels where it’s offered, or keep 16:9 for the full seaside composition. Read our music and sharing terms, and review TikTok’s AI-generated content guidance before posting realistic AI video.
Choose a pack for the number of takes you want
One-time packs provide 1 video credit for $9.99, 3 for $24.99 or 10 for $69.99. Every new generation uses 1 credit. Confirmed failures return the reserved credit; a second version of a completed clip is a new take. See pricing and purchase details before buying.
